Falcon Energy Group Limited is one of the leading regional players in the offshore marine, and oil & gas sectors. The Group provides a full spectrum of services to global oil companies and contractors, from the initial exploration and drilling stage to production and post-production stages with focus on production phase.
The Group has five business divisions with operations spanning Southeast Asia, India, China, Australia, Mexico, West Africa and the Middle East. In certain regions the Group has formed strategic alliances with local partners who have strong marketing and financial standing to achieve the Group's business objectives.
The Marine Division provides offshore support vessels for services such as offshore hook-up and commissioning, well intervention and stimulation, offshore conductor piling and pipe trenching. The Group currently has a fleet of offshore support vessels (“OSVs”) comprising accommodation work barges, multi-functional support vessels, anchor handling tugs and supply support vessels. It also owns a 29% interest in Singapore-listed CH Offshore, an anchor handling tug supply vessel owner and operator with operations mainly in Malaysia. The Group is continually adding to its fleet with more types of vessels of different sizes, equipment configuration and technical specifications to cater to a wider customer base.
The Oilfield Services Division provides services such as agencies, warehousing, logistics, procurement and other general support activities. The Oilfield Projects Division executes various projects on oil and gas production facilities for oil companies and oil & gas contractors. The Oilfield Projects Division has the capability to execute oilfield projects range of various sizes from topsides and production modules to heavy oil facilities.
The Drilling Services Division intends to establish a modern fleet of jack-up rigs to cater for national oil companies and oil and gas contractors. The Group currently has on order, four GustoMSC CJ-50 and one KeppelFELS Super B Class jack-up rigs. These will be delivered between mid-2015 to mid-2016. The rigs will meet the demand for high specification rigs with advanced technology that provide better drilling capability, more cost-effective operations, and safety features that meet the requirements of current safety regulations.
The Resources Division complements the Group’s energy-related businesses. The division will accumulate reserves of higher-grades thermal coal which are suitable for the mostly coal-powered power stations of Southeast Asia, China and India. It has acquired three coal concessions in East Kalimantan, Indonesia which are being readied for production.
The Group has established a solid track record over the past 30 years. Its commitment to top quality operations, professional practices and safety standards has earned it a clientele base that includes some of the largest oil majors in the world such as Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron, BP, PetroChina and TOTAL, as well as oilfield service companies such as McDermott, Halliburton and COSL.
